The Committee supports the implementation of the Convention on the recognition of qualifications concerning higher education in the European region (Lisbon Convention) by encouraging countries to follow shared principles and good practices. It does this by adopting recommendations, declarations, protocols, and other tools that help national authorities apply the Convention effectively. It can also take the lead in developing new guidance when needed.
At its tenth session, the Committee is expected to adopt a revised Code of Good Practice in Transnational Education (2007) and approve the updated Joint ENIC/NARIC Charter of Activities and Services. It will also agree on a new Work Plan for 2025–2028 and elect the members of its Bureau.
During the Conference, the Committee will also examine key issues, including:
- The latest updates on the Global Convention and the Lisbon Convention
- The state of play of the European Qualifications Passport for Refugees and the UNESCO Qualifications Passport
- Information about the ENIC and NARIC networks.
More information will be available soon.
